Custom Slate Tile Work on a Fireplace Surround and Hearth

Not every remodel is straightforward. When you've got a space this unique - raw log posts, multi-level steps, a wood-burning fireplace insert - the tile work has to be planned carefully and executed by someone who actually knows what they're doing. Large-format dark slate tiles were fitted across the hearth floor, the raised platform, and up the surrounding walls - all working around the structural log posts and the fireplace opening.
